Woodbury VFW Trailer Back to New Regular Spot

The Woodbury VFW’s Cans for College trailer has been moved in back of the Valley Creek Mall, between Frattallone's Ace Hardware and the building's north annex. 

People can see it from the parking lot, according to Bob Fritsche, commander of Post 9024. I

The VFW uses the trailer to collect cans to fund scholarships for local high school students.

The group and city in September reached an agreement about the placement of the trailer. It can now be stationed in the lot for 20 days each year.

The money from the cans is used for the Ken Fritsche Sr. College Memorial Fund, which each year provides $1,000 scholarships to two Woodbury High School seniors going on to higher education.
