Sellers who choose to make enhancements to their front yards, de-clutter their home and put a fresh coat of paint on the walls tend to have good-to-excellent results in comparison to the 68% who don't. By boosting curb appeal and staging, it’s proven that sellers receive their first offer six days faster and staged homes sell for up to 6% more than those that aren’t.

When making major renovations to update a home, kitchens and bathrooms are typically the most costly rooms to renovate. However, they are also the rooms that tend to rank high on the most “lived-in” parts of the house scale, so an updated kitchen or bathroom is particularly attractive and a “must have” for many potential buyers.
