Citizens Climate Lobby Regional Conference

The Citizens Climate Lobby Regional Conference commences Friday night, and will feature the following keynote speakers:

Maggie's Brain at the Cowles Center

Maggie’s Brain is a dance-theatre performance about the effects of schizophrenia on a young woman and her family. This emotionally-charged production highlights the person behind the illness, shattering stigma and prejudice in an experience both emotionally powerful and transforming.

The Pilates Body Open House

Drop by the studio and join professionally trained staff to demystify Pilates, view specialized equipment demonstrations, and learn how Pilates improves and maximizes strength, flexibility, and control. YAMUNA body rolling and Barre also will be demonstrated.

SCCS Open House and Pancake Breakfast

Prospective families are invited to St. Croix Catholic’s open house and pancake breakfast on Sunday.

The school serves students preK – grade 8. In addition to enjoying delicious pancakes, visitors can tour classrooms, meet teachers, take in a Catholic book fair, and visit the new STEM Tech lab.

St. Croix Catholic is the only Catholic school in the Upper Midwest to have the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia, the most highly sought after teaching order in the country. The school is also the first Catholic school in the state to assume Project Lead The Way, the nation’s leading science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) program.
