Community Update

I took a family heirloom baptism dress here to be cleaned and pressed and when I got it back it had completely different buttons attached to it. No one from the business told me about the buttons or asked me if they could change the buttons. When I went in to ask what happened, the lady at the desk said she needed to contact her supervisor to see what was going on. The supervisor said they weren't sure if the dress even had buttons on when it came in....I showed them a picture clearly showing the original buttons. Nobody knew what happened to the buttons, where the buttons went, and why there were new buttons attached to my family heirloom!! Besides the different buttons, they were poorly sewn on and did not really match the garment. They also said they called me to ask about the buttons - I NEVER received any call from them at all and I showed them the call history on my phone. Needless to say I was livid, and they refused to reimburse me at all! They said I could go buy different buttons, bring them in, and they would sew them on for free! Really?! I'm pretty sure something happened to the original buttons and nobody wanted to confess to their screw-up! Poor customer service. Poor communication. Poor ethical treatment of a customer issue.
