Wounded Warrior Project, Inc. Receives $2,500 Gift in Honor of Cargill Volunteer

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Cargill recently presented a Cargill Cares Volunteer Award to Tom Cocchiarella of Woodbury, MN for his outstanding volunteer service. Cocchiarella has volunteered for over 5 years with Wounded Warrior Project, Inc., serving as a volunteer fundraiser and working to encourage & support local Wounded Warriors and their families as they heal and transition into their new lives.

To recognize his commitment to community, Cargill has contributed $2,500 to Wounded Warrior Project, Inc. Tom is among a special group of Cargill employees and retirees around the world to receive a Cargill Cares Volunteer Award since its inception in 1998.

“Cargill encourages our employees and retirees to give back to the community and is proud of the unselfish ways in which they enrich the communities where we conduct business,” said Mark Murphy, assistant vice president of Corporate Responsibility for Cargill. “The Cargill Cares Volunteer Awards program is one way we recognize and thank Cargill employees for their important contribution to our communities.”
