Been to this place a few times and the food is bland and prices are high for the small portions. None of my neighbors and friends in Woobury think this is a good place to eat. The place was practically empty each time I gave it a try.
One word: Bolognese.
Their bolognese sauce is just delicious.
The way I'd describe this place is that it's a pretty straightforward, simple menu, the staples of Italian American cooking, but they're done really, really well.
Also the Steak Gorgonzola bruschetta are delicious. Make sure to give them a try!
Food, wine all great. Better bread selection would be my only suggestion.

Wow. Boy oh Boy did Woodbury need a place like this! Fantastic Food, atmosphere, and Service. Highly reccommend. Awesome place to hold your Family functions. Great Banquet facilities.
As a former restaurant owner, I am pretty picky! Carmine's had great food, a cozy atmosphere, excellent service and it was spotless! The bar area is a great place to kick back and relax during happy hour and they have good specials. I will definitely come back and recommend it to others.

This authentic Italian restaurant is fantastic if you absolutely LOVE the taste of Chef Boyardee sauce straight out of the can!
I'v been to a lot of resturants in many locations and this is one of the worst resturants I have been to any where. At Carmines, you will pay high prices for poor quality, bland food that comes in small portions. The pasta is drenched is sweet tomato sauce. The bread is dry. This resturant seems to be intent on making the most money off of its customers as possible.
The service was excellent. My salad and flatbread were decent. Flatbread could have been crispier and pasta flavor was not quite right. I hope that they are able to stay in business because there is a lot of potential and the restaurant is beautiful.
