Carver Lake Park is a large community park located off Century Avenue on the city's western edge. There are a number of unique features of the park, most notably an archery range. There is also a large beach at Carver Lake, with concessions in season, though residents should note that there is no lifeguard on duty. There is lots of open space and a large parking lot, and there are also grills, a pavilion, volleyball courts and playgrounds.
