I attended CrossFit Woodbury for the first time just over six months ago. I had spent most of my adult life trying to "stay in shape" through many varied programs including cycling, inline skating, spin classes and lifting weights on my own. I was bored and not seeing much in the way improvement. After getting the nerve to try my first introductory workout (free on Saturdays) I was tired and sore but, I was hooked. I look forward to the next workout am I find myself performing exercise and movements I hadn't performed since my school years. CrossFit is able to be adapted to almost any fitness and experience level from the old to the young from the out of shape to the elite athlete. I now have two of my teenagers working out often times right along side me and they look forward to each workout just as much as I do. I hope anyone reading this will take the first step and just try a workout. I think they will feel the same way I do.
