A very tragic accident. And a senseless death. A lesson to be learned though is that even though one has the right of way, LOOK before moving. Evidently in this case the one driver didn't see the red light or was trying to beat it on the yellow and didn't make it before light turned red. Either way a person has lost their life.   more ›

No one was injured in the crash, which happened just before 2:30 p.m. Monday.

The back end of a truck was clipped by another vehicle as it went through the roundabout at Radio Drive and Bailey Road, sending the Ford F-150 on its side Monday afternoon. The truck turned on its side and slid along the road but did not fully roll over, he said. A father and his daughter were in the truck; they were heading to the airport, Olson said. …

The vehicle hit a power pole and a line came down and made contact with the car, Woodbury Police Cmdr. Steve Wills said. The driver has been identified as Nicholas Bibeau, 18, of Cottage Grove. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner is conducting an autopsy, Wills said. The car was traveling northbound on Sunny Hill Drive and slid off the dirt road and hit the pole, Wills said.
