The locally owned restaurant recently began selling beer and wine.
Long part of the plans for Angelina’s Kitchen, a new wine bar is now open at the Woodbury restaurant. Owner Angela Verrastro in October consolidated her Kitchen and Café, and she secured a liquor license in November. The restaurant is now called Angelina’s Kitchen Italian Bistro & Catering. Verrastro said happy hour is available from 3-6 p.m., along with appetizers. She said the flatbread is particularly good. “Nothing deep fried,” Verrastro said. Also, a piano player is now on hand from 6-10 p.m. Friday nights, according to the restaurant’s website. Like Patch on Facebook | Follow us on Twitter | Sign up for our free newsletter
