Updated: Woodbury Police Respond to Daytime Residential Burglary on Eagle Ridge Road
Officers were still on the scene around noon on Thursday.
Update: 2:04 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28 The woman who was home at the time of the burglary said she was scared but ready to act if she came across the perpetrators. Tashney Seiger, 18, said she came downstairs after showering and noticed it was cold. A back patio door was open and the drapes were blowing into the home, at the 600 block of Eagle Ridge Road. She said she went to get her keys—she has a mace canister attached to them—and noticed her wallet was out of her purse. “I was just in panic mode,” Seiger said. “I was ready to punch anyone that came near me.” The thieves got away with either $6 or $11, she said. “I’m not sure if I had two fives or one,” Seiger said, adding that nothing else was missing. She went outside and called 911. …
