Graduation Day in Woodbury: 2013 Citizens’ Academy

The group was recognized during a ceremony Monday night at the Eagle Valley Golf Course clubhouse.

The fourth graduating class of the Woodbury Citizens’ Academy received their diplomas Monday night at the Eagle Valley Golf Course clubhouse. Over several weeks each spring, the Woodbury Community Foundation program looks to give people an inside look at all facets of the city, from government to public safety to local media. Mayor Mary Giuliani Stephens gave the keynote address at the Monday, April 22, ceremony. “Woodbury is a great place to live, work and thrive,” Stephens said in a release. “We encourage everyone to get involved and do great things for our community.” The Woodbury Community Foundation runs the Woodbury Citizens’ Academy in cooperation with the city and other community partners.
