She has been missing since December 2012.
The reward for information leading to the location of Danielle Jelinek has been increased to $25,000, her sister Cory said Wednesday. Jelinek, 28, of Oakdale, was last seen on Dec. 8, 2012, in Chisago City. She was reported missing the next day. Those with information regarding her whereabouts are asked to call the Chisago County Sheriff’s Department at 651-257-4100. A fundraiser was held in late March at the Dog House Bar & Grill in Maplewood, and a Facebook page called Danielle Mary Jelinek Search Team has also been created to help spread awareness about Jelinek’s disappearance. Washington County District Court Judge Greg Galler discusses the question: "Is it worth spending money to hire a lawyer to represent you?"
Judges see a number of people who come to court “pro se.” (Pro se means without an attorney.) Judges hear some interesting reasons as to why people aren’t represented by lawyers: “I’ve seen it on TV,” or “My cousin did his own case and did fine,” or “How hard could it be?” The main reason given is that it can be quite expensive to hire a lawyer. Today marks the one-year anniversary of Woodbury Patch. It’s been fun, to say the least. In one short year we’ve gained a foothold in Woodbury, bringing you daily news and giving you a chance to interact with your neighbors and share information that’s important to you. As Thanksgiving approaches, we would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to all of you—the Patch community—for your support. If you see me around town, stop and say hello. I love interacting with people and hearing about what’s new in your world. And don’t be shy about calling or emailing, either. Tell your friends about Patch—the …
