Woodbury Sen. Susan Kent has introduced a bill that she says will provide spending flexibility for school districts offering all-day kindergarten. I read it that the funding is already in place and this bill allows the school districts flexibility in allocating the funds they receive to both Kindergarteners and those in preschool programs. The district has the option to decide on what children need to be ready for school. It is no way critical of educators.
