Arriving in Style: Woodbury’s Middleton Elementary Students Earn Fun Trip
The youngsters, who sold 25 or more items as part of a PTO fundraiser, got a special treat last week.
For their sales acumen, more than 40 Middleton Elementary students got to ride in a limousine and snack on some free ice cream last week. They were among the school’s students who sold more than 25 items as part of a fundraiser through the Chip Shoppe that netted more than $17,000 for the elementary school’s PTO. “Not bad for selling wrapping paper and cookie dough,” said Jamie Kuebler, PTO member. In a few trips on Friday, Nov. 16, students got to ride in a stretch Hummer limo to Yum! Ice Cream and Candy Shoppe, which recently opened in Woodbury’s Eagle Valley Marketplace.
