President Pimpin Austin, 21, was arrested on domestic assault and malicious punishment of a child charges.
An Oakdale man suspected of whipping his 2-year-old son was booked in Washington County Jail last week for another crime involving the boy's mother. Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Hallmark Circle North on Dec. 7 regarding a domestic assault report and possible child abuse. President Pimpin Austin, 21, of Oakdale, allegedly assaulted a 22-year-old Oakdale woman, who is also the mother of Austin's two children. The woman told police that Austin kicked and punched her in the side and punched her in the head. Police saw visible signs of injury, according to the police report. Austin left the residence on foot and police located him walking at 10th Street and Hadley Avenue. Austin was arrested and taken to Washington County Jail. …

Thomas Daniel Davison, 41, could face up to a year in prison and a $3,000 fine if he is convicted of the charge against him.
Hearing dates have been set for a 41-year-old Woodbury man accused of malicious punishment of a child after he allegedly slapped his 13-year-old son and locked him out of the house last December. Washington County District Court Judge John R. McBride scheduled an omnibus hearing for Thomas Daniel Davison on April 21 to determine whether sufficient probable cause exists in the case. If probable cause is found against Davison, the case will continue with a pre-trial hearing on Apr. 16 and a jury trial on May 23. According to a Washington County criminal complaint, Davison and his son got into an argument, which led to the man slapping the boy across the face and subsequently locking him out of the house. A Woodbury man was arrested and charged with gross misdemeanor malicious punishment of a child in connection with an alleged incident that occured on Dec. 6 in the 7800 block of Irish Avenue in Cottage Grove. According to a Washington County criminal complaint filed on Dec. 12: Thomas Daniel Davison, 41, was questioned and taken into custody by Cottage Grove police after allegedly using the back of his hand to slap his 13-year-old son across the face. According to the complaint, Davison and his son got into an argument, which concluded by Davison locking the boy out of the house.
