Woodbury Man Accused of Beating Woman Because She Would Not Sleep With Him
The woman suffered a fractured orbital bone and vomited several times in the presence of officers, according to the criminal complaint.
A Woodbury man faces a felony assault charge after he allegedly punched a woman in the face because she would not sleep with him. If convicted, Antonio Lee Richardson, 23, could get up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine stemming from the Sept. 11 incident on Harvest Path in Woodbury. Police were called to the home at about 4:30 a.m. and found a woman sitting on a couch, doubled over and crying in front of a large bowl, into which she vomited several times in the presence of officers, according to the criminal complaint. Police noted that her left eye was swollen shut and she had a scratch on her face and blood on her neck; she was also complaining of dizziness and a headache.
