The following information was obtained from recent police reports. A Woodbury teacher who keeps in touch with a former student called police after seeing threatening messages on his Facebook page, apparently related to a post-secondary course he was taking. He had missed two classes and was dropped, costing him $2,000. Police made contact with the man, who said there were no problems. Woodbury police and fire crews responded to Battle Creek Lake at about 9:30 a.m. after a report that someone had fallen through the ice. Officials determined no one actually went through the ice. Police Blotter: Driver Etiquette, Let That Raccoon Go, Mailbox Fireworks

The following information was obtained from recent police reports. Police were called about three unattended children in an SUV in a parking lot at the 8200 block of Tamarack Village. Officers discussed safety concerns with the driver. A road rage incident broke out after one driver nearly hit another while speeding through the parking lot near the Steepery. The two motorists headed eastbound on Tamarack Road, and the caller said the other driver flipped her off. When they arrived at a stoplight, the other driver, a man, told her: “You little (expletive), why don’t you learn to drive, (expletive)?” She then said to him: “Why don’t you learn to drive?” That was the extent of the incident.
