The following information was obtained from recent police reports. A Woodbury teacher who keeps in touch with a former student called police after seeing threatening messages on his Facebook page, apparently related to a post-secondary course he was taking. He had missed two classes and was dropped, costing him $2,000. Police made contact with the man, who said there were no problems. Woodbury police and fire crews responded to Battle Creek Lake at about 9:30 a.m. after a report that someone had fallen through the ice. Officials determined no one actually went through the ice.
