Woodbury PD Blotter: Dumpster Diving, Dog Custody Dispute, ‘Snake Out’

Selected calls to the Woodbury Police Department from Jan. 5-10.

The following information was obtained from recent police reports. A Home Depot employee called police after a window on his car was broken out and a garage-door opener was stolen. Police were called to a home at the 2500 block of Wimbledon Place after residents thought they heard a snake hissing inside or underneath a couch. A community-service officer was dispatched the home but did not find any snakes. A mailbox at the 6700 block of Sandlewood Road was broken. The homeowner told police its wooden stand appeared to have been broken with a blunt object. An employee at Gold’s Gym called police after a man was seen in the parking lot asking people for money and following and harassing them if they didn’t hand over any cash. He was gone by …

Woodbury PD Blotter: Aug. 12-16

Lots of graffiti reported recently, plus a snake found by the Woodbury football coach and other calls to police.

The following information was obtained from recent police reports. A GPS device valued at $300 was reported stolen from a vehicle parked at the 3700 block of Village Court on Aug. 12. A derogatory post on Facebook led to a domestic assault incident at a Woodbury home on Aug. 12. A kitten got loose near Woodbury City Hall on Aug. 12. Police were unable to contain it and it disappeared into the nearby woods. Police were called to the 2900 block of Leyland Trail on Aug. 12 after two sisters got into a fight. An Oakdale man reported that $75 was stolen from his Gold’s Gym locker on Aug. 12. A resident at the 1800 block of Donegal Drive called police on Aug. 12 after she thought she heard four gunshots in the area. Police determined it was …
