Thomas Allen Houle, 46, of Stillwater, was one of 19 men charged with misdemeanors during the two-day police operation conducted at the LivInn Hotel in Fridley. He is listed as a member of St. Croix Catholic School's Board of Directors.
In addition to the arrest of Woodbury resident—and former Hill-Murray football coach—Mark Mauer in a prostitution sting in Fridley last month, another community leader also faces charges stemming from the police operation. A member of the St. Croix Catholic School’s Board of Directors was also arrested for allegedly soliciting sex from an undercover police officer. Thomas Allen Houle, 46, of Stillwater, was one of 19 men charged with misdemeanors during the two-day police operation conducted at the LivInn Hotel in Fridley. The case remains under investigation. Houle is also listed as being a coach for a youth girls softball team for the St. Paul Catholic Athletic Association. Calls placed to Houle requesting comment were not returned. …

The Funeral procession for Stillwater native and St. Paul Police Officer Josh Lynaugh will cause Osgood Avenue North to be closed from 62nd Street North to 65th Street North from about 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Other delays are expected.
St. Paul Police Officer Josh Lynaugh will be laid to rest Friday in Stillwater. Lynaugh’s funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Paul Cathedral, with interment following at Lakeview Cemetery. Lynaugh, a Stillwater native, graduated from Stillwater Area High School in 2001. He played football and baseball for the Ponies. He was also an Explorer with the Stillwater Police Department and got his start in law enforcement at Minnesota Correctional Facility-Stillwater. Lynaugh’s funeral procession on Friday will cause some road closures and delays in the area, Washington County Chief Deputy Daniel Starry said, possibly affecting Washington County employees, customers and clients arriving to and leaving from the Government Center.
