Crying at the Bank, Busted for Heroin

An Eden Prairie man faces a felony drug charge stemming from an August incident in Woodbury.

Employees at Wells Fargo in Woodbury called police in August after a man who appeared to be on drugs started crying when told he would not be able to withdraw money from his father’s account. The subsequent investigation led authorities to charge Alex Robert Harrison, 27, of Eden Prairie, with felony drug possession. According to the criminal complaint: Bank employees called police Aug. 28 after refusing to let a man, later identified as Harrison, take money from his father’s account. He began crying when told he would not be able to do so. Workers also overheard him on the phone talking to someone about needing money for cocaine and heroin. An employee then saw him throw something into a sewer near the bank, located on Norma Lane. …

Woodbury Man Accused Of Stealing From Bank

The bank teller admitted he took $1,500 from a West St. Paul Wells Fargo, though more than $4,000 was missing.

A Woodbury man is facing felony theft charges after he allegedly stole money from the West St. Paul bank at which he works. According to the criminal complaint, Irvin Juan Segura, 21, told authorities he took $1,500 from the bank, where he works as a teller. Other employees, however, told police that there was $4,090.04 missing from his cash drawer between Nov. 16 and Dec. 6, when police were contacted, according to the complaint. If convicted he faces up to 5 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
