The East Ridge High School performances were sold out, or very nearly sold out, during the opening weekend.

Opening weekend for East Ridge High School’s White Christmas was a success. Performances were either sold out, or close to being sold out, according to Jimmy Stocco III, technical director. Not Dreaming: 'White Christmas' Comes to East Ridge High School

Shows of the holiday classic begin Nov. 30.

Tickets are on sale now for East Ridge High School’s production of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas.  The musical opens at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 30, with performances at 7 p.m. on Dec. 1, 6, 7 and 3 p.m. on Dec. 2 and 9.  Tickets cost $10 for adults, and $8 for students, seniors and members of the military. People can save $1 by purchasing tickets in advance on The Loft Stage website. Opening night will also feature a gala celebration at 6 p.m. before the Nov. 30 show. The event will feature food from David's Chophouse, entertainment, swing dancing and a visit from Santa. 'Brown' Christmas In Store For Woodbury

It looks like Woodbury folks dreaming of a white Christmas might be out of luck. Forecasts call for sunny skies between now and Christmas, and the light dusting that hit Woodbury on Wednesday didn't amount to much. So what about people looking to enjoy outdoor activities? At Woodbury’s Play It Again Sports, general manager Greg Peterson said there has been a slight dip in the purchase of cross-country skis and snowshoes. “Obviously, you’re going to be dependent on Mother Nature,” he said.
