Dear Resident, And just how do you know what this coach does and says to his athletes? Are you in the locker room and dugout, do you attend practices, are you at games? I've heard way too many stories from people not in a position to judge what a coach is actually doing who come forward and say so-n-so is a great guy. Maybe he acts that way to you, but there are some screwed up coaches who hide …   more ›

The annual charity game was held Wednesday night at Woodbury High School.

Woodbury High School staff squared off on the hardwood against members of the Woodbury Public Safety Department for a Wednesday night fundraiser to benefit the Link Crew. The Link Crew at WHS works to connect upperclassmen with freshmen as the younger students transition to high school. The basketball game was fun and lighthearted, and one WHS staffer dressed up in a beard and sweatpants, at times limping around using a cane (not on the court). The staff at Woodbury High School put together a little trash-talking video beforehand, but the public safety team came out on top. Still, in the end, the game was all about supporting the Link Crew. The Link Crew's website provides information about group. So much more than just an orientation, …
