Crews will be replacing a siren and pole at Evergreen East Park today, Wednesday, Jan. 23. The Woodbury Public Safety Department posted the announcement on its Facebook page: EVERGREEN EAST PARK Ready Watt Electric is in Woodbury today at Evergreen East Park (1250 Radio Drive). They will be removing the old siren and pole and replacing it with new equipment. The company expects to complete this replacement project by the end of the day. The siren needs to be programmed properly to receive activiation and cancellation tones from Washington County to ensure that the siren sounds and rotates properly. The discount grocer plans to open in the former Borders location.
Aldi is planning to upgrade the former Borders space, where it’s looking to open a new grocery store in Woodbury. The discount grocer has submitted a building permit for interior and exterior improvements at the former bookstore at 8472 Tamarack Bay, according to a memo on the Woodbury City Council’s agenda for Wednesday. The estimated value of the work was not submitted. Aldi in April made known its plans to open a new store in Woodbury. I shop ALDI in Hudson,Mahtomedi , St Paul and W St Paul. Never been dirty when I stopped there. Its a discount retailer. Do you expect carpet like at Byerly's? Walmart on the other hand is the messiest store in Woodbury. Junk laying around on shelves, endcaps of unorganized products, very hard to find anything or anyone to help you find it. etc etc..
