‘Stroller fitness program’ aimed at recent and expecting mothers.
Woodbury mothers, if you’re looking to get in shape after the New Year but don’t want to pay for daycare, there will soon a new option for you. The local Baby Boot Camp is set to open Jan. 25. Baby Boot Camp is a “stroller fitness program,” said Heather Hampton, owner of the Maplewood-Woodbury franchise, the first in Minnesota. The new business is aimed at stay-at-home moms who want to expand their workout to include circuit and strength training. And do it with their baby. “Everybody can go for a stroll,” said Hampton, who has a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and a master’s in exercise physiology. “But that’s only so fun and you can only do so much with your workout.” Though the class is clearly geared toward recent and expecting mothers…
