Woodbury Woman Takes Duck Home, Puts Animal in Her Bathtub

The encounter happened Tuesday.

A Woodbury resident found a duck waddling near her home Tuesday, took it home, and put it in her bathtub, where it went “quack, quack.” According to a police report: The woman, who lives at the 1700 block of Regatta Drive, told police she saw the duck flying around and land on a road near her house. The woman called police to discuss the “highly unusual encounter.” She told officers that she was unsure if it was injured, but “stated that the duck went ‘quack, quack.’” Police discussed several different options for handling the duck, and she eventually agreed to transport it to the Animal Humane Society.        Related: Have You Noticed This Unusual Duck …
