Best Place to Get Your Car Washed in Woodbury: Readers React

With a high near 30 degrees, some sun and the possiblity of even a little melting out there today, drivers in Woodbury might be able to squeeze in a car wash today. Which got us thinking.   On our Facebook page during one of those rare nice days in January, Patch asked about the best place to get your car washed in Woodbury. City Asks: What Do You Think of the Bielenberg Expansion Plans?

An open house about the project is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, May 31.

Have you checked out the latest plans for the Bielenberg Sports Center expansion project? The city will present the preliminary designs for an expanded field house at the Bielenberg Sports Center and solicit feedback from residents during a May 31 open house. “The fabric ‘dome’ roof over the field house has reached the end of its useful life and we would like to replace it with a larger, permanent structure,” Bob Klatt, Parks and Recreation director, said in a release. “Residents are strongly encouraged to come to the open house to learn more about the project, ask questions and provide feedback.” The open house begins at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 31, at Bielenberg, with a brief presentation set for 7:30 p.m. The project is expected to cost …

District 833 Lays Out Process For Superintendent Search, Seeks Feedback

South Washington County Schools posted several items, including a letter to the community, regarding the superintendent search on its website Tuesday.

South Washington County Schools on Tuesday outlined the timeline for its superintendent search while also asking for feedback from the community. On its website, District 833 posted the coming process for finding a new superintendent; late last year the school board opted not to renew the contract of Superintendent Mark Porter. The site also includes a joint letter from school board members to the community.
