Police Blotter: Crown Caper, Micro-Melee, I (Don’t) Love the Rainy Night

Selected calls to the Woodbury Police Department from May 3-10.

The following information was obtained from recent police reports. A resident who often walks his neighborhood collecting trash called police after multiple women’s dress shirts were dropped at different locations near the intersection of St. Johns Drive and Eastview Road. The items were dry and it had rained the night before. Employees at Haskell’s Liquor called police after a man stole a bottle of Crown Royal Reserve valued at $45. A worker saw a man put the bottle down the front of his pants. The man then came to the register to pay for another item and the employee confronted him, saying he could see the outline of the bottle in the man’s pants.
