The warm weather Monday might have you fooled, but it’s Christmas tree season, and here’s the rundown for where you can get a live tree locally. Wolcyn Tree Farms and Nursery began selling fresh-cut trees, wreaths and spruce tips at the Valley Creek Mall starting the day after Thanksgiving, with new trees arriving regularly from its farm in Cambridge, Minn. “Every week we get a fresh load of trees,” said Clint Wolcyn, part-time worker and son of owners Tom and Adie Wolcyn. “Which means these trees have been cut only a day or two before they’re put on display.” The Wolcyn lot offers a range of tree sizes and types, including Frasier, Balsam and Canaan.
