Bachmann on Unemployment Numbers: 'We are Not Creating Jobs Quickly Enough'

Sixth District Congresswoman Michele Bachmann released the following comments regarding the latest unemployment numbers reported today by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics: “Millions of Americans have left the workforce in the last four years, yet the unemployment rate today is virtually identical to what it was when President Obama took office. We are simply not creating jobs quickly enough. 7.7 percent unemployment means that millions of people are entering the holiday season without a paycheck. President Obama’s tax and spend policies continue to explode the debt and cloud the country with uncertainty. Bachmann might be on her way out but good for her for telling it the way it is. Government is too big, costs too much and everything possible to trim the costs in a responsible way would be battled between parties.
