I've been a journalist for the past seven years, working at some of the monthly newspapers in St. Paul before I latched on at the Stillwater Gazette as an editorial assistant. From there I became a reporter, covering everything there is in the St. Croix Valley until I became the Gazette's managing editor in 2007. I am excited about the opportunity to cover Woodbury and hope Patch.com becomes an integral part of the community.

I am working on a feature film that is helping a great cause as well as offering people the opportunity to get involved with the film. I think this would be a great story to write about and tell people. Hi Kris,
This is Barry Alverman from The EXPRESS Band, which I have listed in the Woodbury Patch. The description part of the listing needs a spelling correction - it says we're "...a Classic Rock band located in St. Paul and Minneapolis, MD." The "MD" should be "MN". Thanks for correcting!
