Melanie is a full-time mom of a blended family with 5 kids ages 14, 12, 11, 10 & 2 1/2 years. As if that doesn't sound wild enough, she's married to a police sergeant who's profession adds an extra layer of hectic to family life.
Her experiences have inspired her to launch Minnesota Law Enforcement Companion Support, a group dedicated to providing support to companions of Law Enforcement. She also is running the Minnesota Auxiliary of the national group, Wives Behind the Badge, Inc. 
She still has energy left over to blog about her sometimes too exciting life here at Woodbury Patch.
