Mike Thole, Neighbor

I graduated from Stillwater High School in 1986 and earned his BS in Elementary Education and Minor in Spanish at the U of M.  I spent 19 years in the St. Paul Public Schools, primarily as a 4th grade teacher.

In 2006, my wife Christi and I purchased an ice cream truck from South Carolina in E-bay and started Street Treats Ice Cream, running neighborhood routes in St. Croix Valley communities. 

In 2010, I began preparing for life after teaching by beginning Mix My Clips, a video services business specializing in home movie editing.  When SPPS offered early retirement in 2011, I jumped at the chance! 

My latest venture in editing is the Tour Main Street concept of local, small business promotion via snappy weekly videos and tapping into the power social networking.
