ReplyThe short on this discussion tonight is that City Administrator Larry Hansen asked the council to give him time to discuss the proposal with the city attorney and community development director and bring it back to council for a vote in two weeks after he can give a staff recommendation. I'll update with a story about the discussion later tonight or tomorrow.

John's daughter left me this message on Facebook yesterday: "Shawn...my dad thinks the bear has been there every night since Monday. He IS going to call the DNR back on Monday...the bear is staying TOO close."

Basically Randy, the redesign was supposed to roll out a couple of months ago and got delayed ... this all gets handled in NYC, so I didn't know what it would look like or when it would roll out, therefore I didn't mention it to users unless they asked about it. There will be more information about it coming soon, or so I'm told. The new platform will be coming May 29, and it is more user-oriented. Susan asked me about the flagging process and I told her what I know about it, which is simply with the redesign it will generate an email to me so I'm aware something has been flagged. Currently, I don't see what gets flagged and what doesn't.
