ReplyI do our 1/2 acre yard and I don't charge my husband anything. Well, not much.
We do hire "occasional" help when we are on vacation, for instance. Pay $40-50 for a one-time job.
We also hire fall and spring maintenance -- leaf cleanup, fertilizing and a final mowing, usually about $250. Got a really good deal last fall when a group of men were earning money to play in an adult softball league. They promised their wives they wouldn't take the cost of playing out of their household money, so they did fall cleanup to earn the entry fee. Charged us $50; we gave them a 100% tip.
Anyone know of someone who is available for some work this spring? We couldn't find anyone who is caught up with their regular accounts because of the slow start.

Food vendors (all samples are included in the price of admission) include Sunsets, Carbones (Lake Drive) of Woodbury, Jimmy John's of Woodbury, Starbucks at Kowalski's, Machine Shed, David's Chophouse, Great Harvest Bread, Mississippi Dunes, Yo Joe's, and District 833 Nutrition Services.

ReplyPatty melt and reuben for us Saturday. Both sandwiches and the fries were really good. Great waitress and Vinnie made sure to greet everyone as family. We'll be back.

ReplyChris: Combine it with a little-kid-friendly water play area similar to the one they have in Kingston Park in Cottage Grove (but find a way to heat the water -- Brrrrrrr...) and we can get really excited!
