I am a lifelong area resident, raised in Cottage Grove.  I have lived in Woodbury for 18 years, and raised 3 children, one with special needs, to adulthood and now enjoy the amazing gift of two adorable grandchildren. 

In the past three years, I stood by my husband as he won battles over leukemia and a job layoff, and I have learned to live joyfully with my own Stage 4 cancer. 

Volunteering is important to me. I am active in disaster response, having coordinated 36 teams to the gulf coast following Katrina and many more to SE Minnesota, and serve on the Woodbury Volunteer Emergency Response Team (VERT) steering committee.  I have served on several boards of directors, and currently do volunteer work with Woodbury Lutheran Church and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
