Girls Boutique and Party Center Coming to Woodbury

Owner Angie Bottemiller, who has lived in the city for 20 years, says Pout In Pink will "bring a little pink to Woodbury."

Pout In Pink, a girls boutique and party center, is set to open in Woodbury this fall.

The details for the lease agreement are still being worked out, but the idea is for Pout In Pink to open in September, said Angie Bottemiller, who has lived in Woodbury for the past 20 years and owns the shop with her husband Kevin.

The shop will sell unique clothing and accessories for girls at affordable prices, she said.

“A lot of moms don’t want to drop a hundred dollars on an outfit,” Botemiller said.

Plans for the party room include a stage, catwalk and cupcake bar, and there will be themed parties throughout the year in the shop, modeled in a French boutique style, Bottemiller said.

“When people walk into the store, their mouths are going to drop,” she said.

Bottemiller, who has four children, said it’s hard to find party spots for girls in the city, and Pout In Pink should fill the void.

“Woodbury needs that,” she said. “We want to bring a little pink to Woodbury.”

The parties will be “fun, unique and chic,” she said, and feature dress-up demonstrations, hair styling, “light makeup” and nail painting.

Bottemiller also has her own tutu-making business, TuTuLicious, and her items will be available in the retail area of the shop.

A website, address and phone number will be available soon, as well as a grand-opening date.
