Woodbury Earns ‘GreenStep City’ Designation
The recognition comes behind its efforts to implement green practices.
For its efforts in the areas of “energy and resource conservation and innovation,” Woodbury has been recognized as a Minnesota GreenStep City.
Woodbury—now a “Step 3 City” under the three-tier program—will be recognized with an award at the League of Minnesota Cities’ 2013 annual conference on June 20.
This free Minnesota Pollution Control program, managed through a public‐private partnership, is based upon 28 best practices. According to the group’s website, Woodbury’s achievements within the program include:
