Picketers in Woodbury Over Contract Dispute

The workers were out in front of Hohenstein's—off Lake Road—on Tuesday.

A group of beer delivery drivers on Tuesday were protesting proposed changes to their contract outside in Woodbury.

Union leader Larry Yoswa said health care coverage and changes to the structure for delivery commissions are among the problems they have with the proposed changes to the group’s contract.

Fourteen members of the Teamsters Local 792 have stopped working in protest, Yoswa said. The contract is reworked every three years, he said.

Company officials at Hohenstein's had no comment.

Hohenstein's is a local beer and wine distributor for retail stores, bars and restaurants.
