Woodbury Community Expo Set for Saturday

The event will be held at the Bielenberg Sports Center.

The Woodbury Community Expo, the largest such event in the east metro, is set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at the Bielenberg Sports Center.

Admission is free.

The event features more than 160 booths from local businesses and organizations, food from vendors, entertainment and kid-friendly activities.

According to the Woodbury Chamber of Commerce, which organizes the event, booths will feature:

  • Builders and landscapers
  • Local schools
  • Insurance agents
  • Realtors
  • Medical professionals
  • Politicians
  • Food vendors
  • Civic organizations

Meanwhile, Woodbury resident and WCCO meteorologist Chris Shaffer will be giving the WCCO-TV Mobile Weather Watcher tour from 1:30-2 p.m. in the parking lot. Afterward, he will be the emcee from 2-4 p.m. inside the dome.

  • Face painting
  • Ronald McDonald show
  • Bruce the Bug Guy
  • K-9 demonstration
  • University of Minnesota Raptor Center
