Woodbury Patch was asked via Facebook:

Hi there! Any clue on when trick-or-treating starts and ends in Woodbury? Or if it depends on the neighborhood? We’re not in Stonemill, Dancing Waters, or any other area with its own newsletter.

Below are the responses. What do you think? Tell us in the comments section.

Mindi: Totally depends on the neighborhood. I think for us it’s more of a 5:30-8 thing. Typically after 8 it’s mostly older kids—especially when Halloween falls on a school night.

Rhonda: Younger kids stay around 5:30, the older ones wrap it up between 8:30 & 9. We are in the Brookview area.

Kimberly: Omg like there are rules!!! Go to the houses with the lights on and your golden.

Angela: 5:00-9:00pm is appropriate on a school night.

Katie: And come to my house on Wentlock Rd in Colby Lake. We go all out!

Sue: As long as porch lights are on...

Doreen: Lived here since ’91 and not aware of rules. Past years kids start around 6 and are done by 8:30 especially on a school night. Of course one would only stop at homes with the outside lights on.

Lori: Lucky me to live in a neighborhood with our own newsletter... It just might be the lamest thing I've received in my mailbox! My kids & I are going back to our old neighborhood to trick or treat... Love the area, just think it’s a bit too much... The homes with the white exterior lights still on would be the homes I’d take my kids to. ;))))

Robert: Stay away from the blue lights.

Woodbury Patch: For those with HO newsletters, what time does it say?

Cathy: Carriage Farm area sees kids start around 6:00 until about 9:00.

Lori: Exactly Robert! Lol!
