Cree Park Trail Improvements

In full disclosure to this blog; I own part of the property adjacent to the expanded trail system proposed for Woodbury.

City personnel along with our neighborhood worked hard to get the original expansion of . The property is now more available for all the of the Citizens of Woodbury and all the surrounding communities folks to enjoy the wildlife and nature of the area. 

The new trail access adds to all of our abilities to enjoy nature and its surroundings. Frequent inhabitants of this area are deer, owls, wild turkey, etc, and it gives us all an opportunity to enjoy nature’s beauty.

This is a real and tangible asset to our community and to the environment of our area.

The larger picture is that it allows a connection to the greater Twin Cities park and trail system for everyone in our community. I applaud the hard work of the city employees, executive staff and city council in this proposal and feel that this is a milestone in environmental improvements for our community which everyone should be proud of.

I personally want to thank Administrator Gridley for his work on seeing this proposal to an upcoming successful conclusion with the city, hopefully, ultimate approval as having a great environmental positive impact for our community.
