Minnesota Auxiliary, Wives Behind the Badge, Inc.

I have taken on a new role in my life as a police wife.

I am now the MN auxiliary director for a national organization, Wives Behind the Badge. I am very excited to be taking on this endeavor and excited to share that we have many events coming up in the next few months.

Please check the Patch event page for the first three dining to donate events that are coming up on June 14th. Law enforcement support is critical not only for the benefit of the officers but also for their families. Living this life can be both rewarding and challenging and I want to do my part to help with any kind of support that may be needed.

Our law enforcement officers often see and experience things that the rest of us would have trouble dealing with. Remember these are the men and women that are out risking their lives to protect you and your family, spending time away from their own families. It can get lonely. I want to make sure we are protecting those that protect us.

We at Wives Behind the Badge are dedicated to providing resources and emotional support for law enforcement families.  We are proud to offer educational scholarships for law enforcement families, emotional support programs (like online forums and peer-to-peer counseling), critical incident and disaster assistance, and overall resource assistance.  All of our work is funded through donations, special fundraisers, and partnerships with other organizations and agencies.  And, our entire team works on a volunteer basis to better the lives of their law enforcement family.
