St. Paul man charged in Woodbury Cub Foods theft.

A St. Paul man was arrested for the 95th time following a February incident in Woodbury.

Roderick Michael Felber, 44, faces a felony theft charge after Woodbury police linked him to more than $500 worth of merchandise and meat stolen from Cub Foods on Feb. 9.

The investigating officer learned that a man had stolen $509 worth of goods from the grocery store, ran to Champps Restaurant, dropped the bag outside and fled through a patio door, according to the complaint.

A surveillance photo from Cub Foods was sent to area police departments, and a St. Paul officer contacted Woodbury Public Safety and identified the man as Felber. Witnesses from the grocery store also positively identified him as the thief, the complaint says.

Felber’s rap sheet included 94 previous arrests, along with several felony theft convictions. He was most recently sentenced on a theft conviction in Dakota County on July 12, 2012.

If convicted on the latest charge, Felber faces up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
