'Drunk and Had to Pee,' Mighty Pen, Cab Olympics: Woodbury Police Blotter

The following information was obtained from recent police reports.

Police were called about a drunken man (under 21) who was banging on doors windows at a house party at the 400 block of Doncaster Way. He had apparently jumped or fallen off a back deck. He had marijuana on him and was found to have a warrant out for his arrest. After being treated at Woodwinds Hospital, he was booked at the Washington County Jail.

The garage door of a home at the 3800 block of Darlind Drive was damaged after two M-80s were apparently set off in the driveway.

Police were called after members of a homeonwers association expressed concerns about the number of coyotes spotted of late in the area.

Officers gave a Woodbury woman information on obtaining an order for protection against her ex-boyfriend, who came over the day before and threatened to take their child in common and “shoot a (expletive).”

A resident found a police narcotics test pouch in a ditch. It was labeled “cocaine.” Officers explained to the man what it was.

Police were called about a physical domestic incident at the . A woman said she suspected her boyfriend of cheating on her, so she threw a book at his head. He then hit her in the head, and she then stabbed him in the torso with a pen. The man then left. Police determined she was the aggressor, but attempts to contact the man were unsuccessful. She had no marks on her.

Police told a man who had been harassing his ex-girlfriend to “grow up, be mature and move on with his life.” He had no further questions.

A woman whose ex-boyfriend left phone messages saying he would kidnap and torture her called police to report the incidents. She did not request further police action.

An officer in the parking lot of the Norma Lane saw a woman stumbling to the north side of the building. She had her pants down and was urinating on the building. “The subject stated she was drunk and had to pee,” the report says. A sober man who was with her said he thought she was going inside to use the restroom. The woman was cited.

A woman who did not want to pursue domestic assault charges did want to report that her ex-boyfriend stole her motorcycle.

A resident at the 6100 block of Tahoe Place called police after she thought she heard someone trying to get into her home. Police checked the area and didn’t find anything suspicious.

A baseball bat was apparently used to break an exterior surveillance camera on a home at the 3000 block of Torrey Drive.

Safety issues were discussed with residents at the 8600 block of Quarry Ridge Lane after a neighbor put out a plastic container for cigarette butts that caught fire.

A worker at the Minnesota Autism Center called police after seeing fresh scratch marks on a door and suspected someone tried to break in.

The grandmother of a 4-year-old boy called police after he put an orange plastic object in his mouth. Officers were able to determine it was a mouthpiece from a hookah pipe and asked her to keep an eye on him over the next few hours.

A woman, who has had several foster children, reported numerous pieces of jewelry being stolen from her home at the 7500 block of Afton Road over the past four months. Measures were being put in place to catch the thieves.

A dispute between parties at the Red Roof Inn included one man saying he was going to “whack” some people and the same man throwing multiple bags of cocaine on the ground as police arrived.

A man, described as 40-50 years old, gave a cab driver $8 after being driven from the St. Paul Hotel to the intersection of Stratford Road and Hamlet Drive. He then fled and was unable to be located.
