Update (11 a.m., Jan. 27)
According to a police report, Maplewood authorities called their Woodbury counterparts about the incident after hospital officials reported a possible stabbing.
The report says the man who was injured apparently touched a woman's buttocks and her husband intervened and a fight broke out. The man fell on what could have been a broken bottle and he ended up with a one-inch laceration on his right buttock.
A Woodbury officer spoke to the man, who was intoxicated and uncooperative, according to the report. The officer left the man his card in case he wanted to file a report, and the man told the cop to "get (expletive)" and leave.
