Man Sentenced Following Woodbury Crack Cocaine Bust

The deal went down at the Green Mill in Woodbury in July 2012.

A man was recently sentenced following a conviction for selling $400 worth of crack cocaine in Woodbury.

Demontrea Jeremiah Muskon Davis, 21, was given a year in jail (with credit for 87 days served) and a stayed 15-month prison sentence, along with other conditions of his parole.

At about 6 p.m. on July 30, 2012, Davis sold $400 in crack cocaine to a buyer during a meet at the Green Mill in Woodbury, according to the complaint. When arrested, Davis had the cash on him, and the cocaine had a packaged weight of 1.1 grams.

During an interview with investigators, he admitted to selling the drugs and said he needed the money because he was homeless, the complaint says. His listed address in the complaint is in St. Paul.

Well now he will have a warm bed, roof over his head, and three meals a day. We need to address the homeless situation in this country. Currently, a jail sentence is a blessing to this guy or he would freeze to death in a MN winter???

Thanks Jason. Here are a couple links for resources for the homeless in Washington County: http://www.shelterlistings.org/county/mn-washington-county.html http://headinghomeminnesota.org/washington/

Wow, I'm no crackhead, but I'm a little offended by the price. $400 for 1.1 grams? Ridiculous. Quick Google search says this should been like $100.

After a little more window shopping and considering this is the TC and not LA or NYC, I guess that price is not really out of line...
