Police: Woman Jumps From Balcony In Woodbury Domestic Assault Incident

The woman was covered in blood when police found her; a man was arrested with the assistance of a police K-9.

A woman was injured when she jumped from a second-floor balcony to get away from a man during a Feb. 5 domestic assault incident on Falling Water Lane.

According to reports:

The woman went to a neighbor’s house to report that she had been assaulted. Police found that she showed obvious signs of being assaulted and had a broken ankle or lower leg after she jumped from the balcony. She was also covered in blood.

The man fled on foot and was captured with the assistance of a . He was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail.

The woman was treated at a local hospital and officers gave her resources for dealing with domestic violence and an order for protection form.
