Woodbury Police Believe Other Break-ins Tied to City Walk Incidents
There were break-ins at businesses along Commerce Drive, along with City Walk, last week.
Woodbury police are investigating break-ins at the buildings along the 700 block of Commerce Drive that were likely linked to last week’s burglaries at CityWalk.
The Jan. 9 incidents happened around the same time of night and similar methods were used to gain access to the businesses, according to police spokeswoman Michelle Okada.
“It’s not coincidental,” she said.

One Commerce Drive business owner said he was told offices were broken into and it appeared the perpetrators were looking for cash.

Police were able to gather evidence at the businesses and are continuing to investigate, Okada said.
