Woodbury Police Investigating Burglary in Heritage Park Neighborhood

The homeowner thought the suspect may have been in the home at the time, leading to a "heightened response" from authorities.

The door of a home at the 3000 block of Frontier Drive was broken during an apparent burglary Wednesday afternoon in Woodbury.

Police got the call at about 1:30 p.m., and the homeowner had a feeling that the suspect may have still been in the home, leading to a “heightened response” that included a K-9 unit being called in, said Public Safety spokeswoman Michelle Okada.

Detectives were investigating the incident Wednesday, May 8, she said, and further details of the crime weren’t immediately available. Police were still in the area as of 3:40 p.m., a witness told Patch.
